Do you love winter and skiing and want a comfortable stay close to not only cross-country ski tracks but a ski slope too? Then, we welcome you with open arms at Billingehus Hotel.

With our ski package, you can choose whether you want to work your way around the trail or come swooshing down the Billingebacken slope. Maybe your family members have different needs and wishes. The best thing about staying here with us is that when you come from a refreshing day on the mountain, you will be met by a cosy feel, board games, delicious food and drink inside a warm and inviting hotel.

This deal includes:

One overnight stay with breakfast buffet
Ski-track fee or a lift pass for a day
A 3-course dinner at Sandberg’s Dining Room
Access to our sauna

Children aged 2-14 years: 610 SEK. The price includes an overnight stay, ski-track fee/lift pass, half portions of the menu, as well as the breakfast buffet. Children under the age of 2 can be booked by calling or emailing us.

When you stay with us, you get a 15% discount on ski hire at Träningskonsulten, which is right next to the hotel.

Booking information

Payment

When making an online reservation for room and breakfast, the payment is done at the hotel. A credit card is provided only as a guarantee.
When making an online reservation for a package, the payment is done at the time of booking.
If booking a package by phone or email, you will be asked to pay upon arrival.
Please advise our staff at the point of booking, if you are planning to use a gift voucher to pay a part or the entire amount.

Cancellations

Room & breakfast bookings: Cancellations are to be done by 2 pm the latest on the day for arrival. Cancellations later than that, or no shows, will be debited in full.
Package bookings: Cancellations are to be done no later than 3 days prior to arrival. Thereafter full repayment will be done if a doctor’s note (medical certificate) is presented. Without valid doctor’s note there will be no repayment.
Day Spa packages: cancellations should be done 48 hrs, prior to arrival at the latest.

The above mentioned clauses are relevant for guests and groups of up to 9 people. Please contact us if you are travelling with a group larger than that. We reserve the right to change our pricing. PLEASE NOTE! For booking of conferences or larger groups other rules apply.

Snow guarantee applies to all our ski packages

As we offer a snow guarantee, you can feel safe when booking your ski trip with us – regardless of the season.

We guarantee:

At least two kilometres of well-prepped cross-country ski tracks are open from 27 December 2023 up to and including 31 Mars 2024.
Billingen Hill ski slope is open from 10 January to 29 February 2024.

Should this not be the case, you can reschedule or cancel your booking until 12 noon on the day of arrival and have a full refund.

Rescheduling/cancelling your stay less than three days prior to departure can only be done by email: BOKNING@BILLINGEHUS.COM or by phone: +46 (0)500 44 57 00.

From-price what does that mean?

From-price means that the price will vary depending on season as well as which day in the week you arrive. The from-price that is presented in each offer is the lowest available price. If you consult our online booking facility or call our booking department you will be advised of the price that is applicable to the dates you wish to book.

Force majeure

Significant restrictions of deliveries or circumstances that are out of the control of the hotel, will entitle us to terminate the contract without obligation to pay damages. (e.g. strike, fire, lockout, natural disaster, war or such like)

This is the perfect package for someone who wants to focus on their skiing, enjoy the luxurious feeling of staying at a hotel and have all the meals served to them. Book 1–7 nights with full-board.

Cross-country skiing at Billingen

Billingen is an official Vasalopp race centre with 30 km well-prepared cross-country ski tracks and one of the most up-to-date facilities in Sweden, featuring one of the country’s longest trail systems with artificial snow.

Downhill skiing at Billingen Hill

Just outside our front door, you find Billingen Hill ski slope, where you can enjoy both glorious skiing and stunning views across Skövde. The slope is approx. 400 metres long with a drop of approx. 100 metres. There is one piste, two lifts and a snowpark with rails and jumps to suit a variety of skiers and degrees of proficiency.

Bar Arne

Bar Arne – the small bar with the magnificent view. As we serve cocktails and bubbly, this is a place where you can treat yourself and perhaps celebrate something special. But, on the other hand, anyone who knows us knows there is always something to celebrate, so the threshold is not very high.
